The Family that's Bandaged Together, Stays Together...

The girls are recovering well. They're crawling, smiling, and getting into mischief and its only been two days since their surgery.

The surgeries were a complete success!! The girls did great and the doctors are very pleased with the outcome. Our audiologist tested both implants after implantation and said that we have every reason to expect good things in the future. Thank you for the many prayers yesterday. Continue praying for a healthy recovery with no infection what-so-ever.

Turbins Times Two

Heading home after having arrived almost 14 hours before.

6:30am to 7:40pm

What a day.

Rena and Sophi are already covering their heads in preparation for their new cool turbins!

3 days and counting...

We made the decision today for the cochlear implant and the ball is rolling. We're picking out magnet colors and accessories...how much fun! Pray the girls stay healthy for their surgeries on Friday. Sophi started crawling yesterday so they are both mobile now. We'll have to create a padded post-op room for them in the house! Five more weeks and they will hear their first sounds...what a miracle!
